The environment as an element of space shaping

The urban planning of the old/new settlement is built upon two basic structures: single-storey pavilions scattered amidst greenery with a high level of privacy, and clusters of two-storey buildings whose disposition forms pleasant micro-ambiences.

The modern tourist resort Flora in Njivice (Marbera Flora Green Villas), built on the site of an abandoned holiday resort from the 1970s, is the result of a collaboration between studio SKROZ and the design collective Numen/For Use. The holiday homes within the resort offer controlled views of the surrounding nature, while introducing elements of the local visual expression into their simple and functionally designed interiors.
